Refunds & Returns Policy
We want you to feel confident when shopping with us. This policy outlines your rights and responsibilities when it comes to returns and refunds, in line with UK consumer law.
🔁 Returns & Exchanges – Standard Items
We offer a 14-day return or exchange guarantee on eligible items, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
This 14-day window begins the day after your order is delivered.
To qualify for a return or exchange:
- Items must be in unused, unworn, and resalable condition
- All original packaging, tags, and inserts must be included
- You must contact us before returning to receive return authorisation
Items returned without meeting these criteria may be refused or returned to you.
💰 Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will issue a refund to your original payment method for the item’s purchase price (excluding any upgraded shipping costs).
Note: If you return an entire order, we will refund the standard delivery charge (if paid). Enhanced delivery options (e.g. express shipping) are non-refundable.
Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days of receiving your return.
📦 Return Shipping Costs
- Unless the item is faulty or sent in error, you are responsible for return postage.
- We recommend using tracked and insured delivery.
- We are not liable for returns lost in transit.
- Any customs/import fees on returned items are your responsibility.
🚫 Final Sale / Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable, except where faulty or not as described:
- Special order items, including high-value gold chains sourced specifically for you
- Custom-made, engraved, or personalised jewellery
These items are clearly marked as Final Sale on their product pages. By purchasing, you agree that these items cannot be returned unless faulty.
⚖️ Weight Disclaimer
All weights shown for gold, silver, or other precious metal items are approximate and may vary due to polishing and manufacturing processes.
We allow a tolerance of ±10%. This does not qualify as a fault or misdescription.
🟡 Plated Jewellery Disclaimer (Wear vs. Fault)
Plated items (e.g. gold-plated, silver-plated, rhodium-coated) naturally fade or wear over time, especially with exposure to water, perfumes, sweat, or friction.
This is considered normal wear and tear, not a manufacturing fault.
Returns are not accepted for plating loss or tarnish caused by use. For care advice, please see our Jewellery Care Guide.
⚠️ Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please email midvsco@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery and include:
- Your order number
- Clear description of the issue
- Photographs of the item, packaging, and labels
We will arrange a replacement or refund, and cover return postage if necessary.
What is not considered a fault:
- Natural fading or wear of plating
- Weight variation within ±10%
- Minor surface marks or finishing imperfections
- Damage caused by misuse or improper care
🔒 Unauthorised or Late Returns
- All returns must be authorised before being sent back.
- Items returned without prior contact may be refused.
- Returns received after the 14-day window may be rejected and returned to you at your cost.

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet the conditions of this policy, including used or incomplete items.
